Meet the Author DayPosted: Tuesday, March 17, 2015
The WHS Library hosted a Meet the Author Day on Tuesday, March 17th. Students were able to meet local author, Jo Ramsey, view her latest young adult books, and learn about the book publishing process!

National History Day Posted: Wednesday, March 4, 2015
On March 4th, the Winthrop High School Social Studies Department displayed the 2015 National History Day Projects created by students in social studies classes, grades 9-12. Family, friends, and the community were invited to view student projects and to speak with students.

For National History Day, students picked a historical topic of their choice that related to this year's NHD theme: (Continued...)
